The « Anciennes troupes militaires de Montréal » (ATMM) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote activities reflecting the history of the Compagnies franches de la Marine in New France and the lasting impact these military personnel had on Canadian and Québec societies.

2021 Summer season

Île-de-la-Visitation

Animations and educative games at the Maison du Pressoir and the Maison du Meunier of the Île-de-la-Visitation. Highland dance at 11:30 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM.

Dates : 4, 11, 18 and 25 of August between 10 AM and 4 PM

Historic site Marguerite Bourgeoys

Animations and educative games at the Historical site Marguerite Bourgeoys.

Dates : between the 4th of August and 5th of September

Château Ramezay Museum

Animations and educative games at the Château Ramezay Museum.

Dorval Museum

Animations and educative games at the Dorval Museum and Pine Beach Park Musket drill at 1 PM.

Maison Saint-Gabriel

Animations and educative games at the Maison Saint-Gabriel. Highland dance at 1 PM.

1804 : l’événement !

Terrebonne had been between 1802 and 1804 the seigneurie of Simon MacTavish. He was also proprietor of the North West Company, the great rival in the fur traide to the Hudson’s Bay Company. On this final day of our Summer season, come and see the Provincial Corps of Voyageurs and the Compagnie franche de la Marine do musket drill in a warm family event.
